How To Crochet A Butterfly, UK Terms

Written Pattern:

Make a slipknot, ch 6, ss to the first ch that you made (so it makes a loop), ch 1.

Working into the centre of the loop you just made, *3 htc, ch 3* x 4, ss to the first htc that you made = 12

Ch 1, turn your work, in the first ch 3 from the previous row make 1 htc, 2 tr, 2 dtr, ch 3, ss into the top of the last dtr that you made, 1 dtr, 2 tr, 1 htc, ss into the centre of the 3 htc from the previous row.

In the next two ch 3 spaces make *2 htc, 3 tr, 2 htc, ss into the centre of the 3 htc from the previous row*

In the last ch 3 space make 1 htc, 2 tr, 2 dtr, ch 3, ss into the top of the last dtr that you made, 1 dtr, 2 tr, 1 htc, ss into the centre of the 3 htc from the previous row.

Cut the yarn and weave the two tails up to the top of the butterfly, knot the two ends together to make the antenna
