Make a slipknot , ch 2, go back into the first chain that you made and make 6 dc, pull the tail tight = 6
*1 inc* x 6 = 12
*dc 1, 1 inc* x 6 = 18
*dc 2, 1 inc* x 6 = 24
*dc 3, 1 inc* x 6 = 30
*dc 4, 1 inc* x 6 = 36
Dc around for 8 rows = 36

*dc 3, 1 dec* x 6 = 24
*dc 2, 1 dec* x 6 = 18
*dc 1, 1 dec* x 6 = 12
Stuff
Add any dried catnip or a small bell when stuffing the ball.

Cut the yarn long enough to stitch the ball closed, thread the yarn through the front loops of each of the last 6 st, pull the tail tight and hide the yarn tail inside the ball.
