Ears:

Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6 dc in the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6

Dc around for 1 row = 6

*1 inc* x6 = 12

Dc around for 1 row = 12

*1 dc, 1 inc* x 6 = 18

Dc around for 1 row = 18

*2 dc, 1 inc* x 6 = 24

Dc around for 2 rows = 24

Cut the yarn long enough to stitch them onto the top of the head.

Wings:

Make a slipknot, ch 23, skip the last ch that you made and make 1 htc in each ch, ch 1 and turn you work over = 22

Htc 19, leave the last 3 chains, ch 1 and turn = 19

Htc 19, ch 1 and turn = 19

Htc 16, ch 1 and turn = 16

Htc 16, ch 1 and turn = 16

Htc 13, ch 1 and turn = 13

Htc 13 = 13

Black yarn

Ch 1 with the black yarn and knot the two yarn ends together, cut the purple yarn long enough to stitch it onto the back of the bat.

Dc along the short flat side of the wing, at the corner make 2 Dc in the corner st, ch 3, ss to the top of the last dc that you made, make 1 dc in the same corner st, make 1 dc in each st along the long flat side of the wing, ch 1, cut the yarn and hide the tail behind the black stitches.

St the wings and ears onto the bat, knot the ends together so they don’t come loose and hide the yarn tail inside the bat.
