How To Crochet A Baby Elephant

Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made = 6
1 inc x6 = 12
1 sc, 1 inc x6 =18
2 sc, 1 inc x6 =24
3 sc, 1 inc x6 = 30
4 sc, 1 inc x6 = 36
5 sc, 1 inc x6 = 42
7 rows of sc = 42


5 sc, 1 dec x6 = 36
1 row of sc = 36
4 sc, 1 dec x6 = 30
3 sc, 1 dec x6 = 24
2 sc, 1 dec x6 = 18
Stuff
2 rows of sc = 18
2 sc, 1 inc x6 =24
1 row of sc = 24
3 sc, 1 inc x6 = 30

thread the yarn through the front loops of each of the last 6 st, pull the tail tight to close up the hole and hide the yarn inside the elephant.

2 sc, 1 inc x6 =24
1 inc, 3 sc x6 = 30
4 sc, 1 inc x6 = 36
Cut the yarn.
Change to main color
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made. = 6
1 inc x6 = 12
1 sc, 1 inc x6 =18
2 sc, 1 inc x6 =24
1 inc, 3 sc x6 = 30
4 sc, 1 inc x6 = 36
Place the two circles together with the wrong sides facing each other.
Crochet through both circles 1 inc, 5 sc x6 = 42
6 sc, 1 inc = 48
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch it on to the head.
