Written Pattern:
Row 1.
Ch 5, ss to the first ch that you made to make a loop
Ch 2, make 12 dc into the loop you made, Ss to the top of the first dc you made = 12
Pull the tail tight to close the center.
Row 2.
Ch 2 (every ch 2 from here now counts as a stitch), make 1 dc in the same st as your ch 2, 1 dc inc in each st = 24
Row 3.
Ch 2, 1 dc in the same st as your ch 2, 1 dc, *1 dc inc, 1 dc* x 11, ss to the top of the ch 2 = 36
Ch 2, 1 dc in each st, repeat this row until it measures 6.5 inches long from the centre of the beanie, I made 9 rows.
If you don’t want the brim of the beanie to fold up please repeat the row above until it measures 4.5 – 5 inches long from the center of the beanie.
The hat circumference should measure between 10 to 11 inches.
