Learn how to make these cute tooth pillows to hang on your child’s door ready for the tooth fairy to arrive. For the eyes you can use buttons or safety eyes it’s up to you. While this pattern is available for free here on MummaJ Crochet, a PDF version is also available (at a low cost!).

You will need:
*Cotton Yarn: 100% cotton, 50 g (1.76 oz) / 115m (125 yd) Etsy
Stitches/Abbreviations:
Dc = Double Crochet (Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Htc = Half Treble Crochet (Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through all three loops.)
Tr = Treble Crochet (Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Dtr = Double Treble Crochet (Yarn over twice, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have four loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, Yarn over, pull through the next two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Ss = Slip stitch (Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.)
Inc = Increase (2 dc in same stitch)
Dec = Decrease (Insert hook into first stitch yarn over and pull through, Insert hook into second stitch yarn over and pull through, now you have 3 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops.)
Blo = Back loop only
Flo = Front loop only
St = Stitch/stitches
Ch = Chain (Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook)
- * repeat the pattern in-between the asterix X amount of times
- = number of stitches at the end of the round
- Work in continuous spiral; do not join your work at the end of the rounds unless stated.
- This pattern uses UK terminology.

Written Pattern:
Make two tooth patterns and we’ll stitch them together at the end.
x 2
Make a slipknot, ch 5, skip the last ch that you made, dc 4 = 4
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 inc, dc 2, 1 inc = 6
*Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dc in each st* x 4 rows = 6
Cut the yarn for the first piece but leave it attached on the second piece.
Body
Ch 1, turn your work, dc 6, pick up the first piece that you made and work 6 dc across = 12
Ch 1, turn your work, dc 12 = 12
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 inc, dc 10, 1 inc = 14
Ch 1, turn your work, dc 14 = 14
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 inc, dc 12, 1 inc = 16
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 inc, dc 14, 1 inc = 18
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 inc, dc 16, 1 inc = 20
Ch 1, turn your work, dc 20 = 20
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, dc 16, 1 dec = 18
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, dc 14, 1 dec = 16
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, dc 12, 1 dec = 14
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, 4 htc, 2 ss, 4 htc, 1 dec = 12
Ch 1, turn your work, 5 htc, 2 ss, 5 htc = 12
Cut your yarn and make a second tooth but leave the yarn attached at the end of the second tooth.
Place the safety eyes between row 5 and 6 counting down from the last row that you made, once you know where you want your eyes to be remove them and stitch on the eyelashes and mouth.
Once the eyes are on using the white yarn still attached to the tooth, dc through both pieces and stuff as you go. Please see the end of the video if you need any help with the eyes or how I stitched the two pieces together.
Pocket
Make a slipknot, ch 11, skip the last ch that you made and make 1 dc in each st = 10
*Ch 1 and turn, dc 10* x 8 rows = 10
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch the 3 sides onto the back of the tooth.
Handle
Leave a long starting tail, make a slipknot, ch 50, cut the yarn long enough to stitch it onto the top of the tooth.
