These cute crochet popsicle make great toys for your kids that like to play Café or you could use a blanket yarn and bigger hook and turn them into pillows! While this pattern is available for free here on MummaJ Crochet, a PDF version is also available (low cost and print friendly!)

*Cotton Yarn: 100% cotton, 50 g (1.76 oz) / 115m (125 yd)
Stitches/Abbreviations:
Dc = Double Crochet (Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Htc = Half Treble Crochet (Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through all three loops.)
Tr = Treble Crochet (Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Dtr = Double Treble Crochet (Yarn over twice, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have four loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, Yarn over, pull through the next two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Ss = Slip stitch (Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.)
Inc = Increase (2 stitches in same stitch)
Dec = Decrease (Insert hook into front loop of first stitch, Insert hook into front loop of second stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Blo = Back loop only
Flo = Front loop only
St = Stitch/stitches
Ch = Chain (Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook)
- * repeat the pattern in-between the asterix X amount of times
- = number of stitches at the end of the round
- This pattern uses UK terminology.
- Work in continuous spiral; do not join your work at the end of the rounds unless stated.

Written Pattern:
Pink Yarn
Make a slipknot, ch 10, skip the last ch that you made dc 8, in the last ch make 3 dc, turn your work so your working in the back of the chain, dc 7, 1 inc the last ch = 20
1 inc, dc 7, 3 inc, dc 7, 2 inc = 26
1 dc, 1 inc, dc 8, *1 inc, 1 dc* x 3, dc 7, 1 inc, 1 dc, 1 inc = 32
Dc around for 20 rows = 32
White yarn
Dc around for 1 row = 32
Green yarn
Dc around for 2 rows = 32
Add the watermelon seeds to the top of the popsicle.
Add the safety eyes 8 rows up from the last row that you made and about 6 stitches apart.
Using a piece of black yarn stitch on a mouth.
Make a blo dec for every stitch for 1 row = 16

Dec every stitch for 1 row = 8
Tan yarn
Dc around for 8 rows = 8
Stuff
*dc 2, 1 dec* x 2 = 6
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch it closed, thread the yarn through the front loops of each of the last 6 st and pull the tail tight.
