Make these cute teabag bookmarks for yourself or give them as a gift. You can also add a key chain to the top instead of making them into bookmarks. While this pattern is available for free here on MummaJ Crochet, a PDF version is also available (low cost and print friendly!)

You will need:
*Cotton Yarn: 100% cotton, 50 g (1.76 oz) / 115m (125 yd) Etsy
Stitches/Abbreviations:
Sc = Single Crochet (Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Hdc = Half Double Crochet (Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through all three loops.)
Dc = Double Crochet (Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Tr = Treble Crochet (Yarn over twice, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have four loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, Yarn over, pull through the next two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Ss = Slip stitch (Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.)
Inc = Increase (2 stitches in same stitch)
Dec = Decrease (Insert hook into front loop of first stitch, Insert hook into front loop of second stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Blo = Back loop only
Flo = Front loop only
St = Stitch/stitches
Ch = Chain (Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook)
- * repeat the pattern in-between the asterix X amount of times
- = number of stitches at the end of the round
- Work in continuous spiral; do not join your work at the end of the rounds unless stated.
- This pattern uses US terminology.

Written Pattern:
Teabag
Ch 9, skip the last ch that you made and make 7 sc, 1 inc in the last ch, turn your work and make 7 sc in the back of the ch, 1 inc in the last ch = 18
Sc around for 5 rows = 18
Cut the yarn and weave the tail into the teabag
Stuff
Insert your hook into the side of the teabag and attach the white yarn, ch 1, sc the two sides of the teabag together = 9
Ch 1, turn your work, sc 9 = 9
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, sc 5, 1 dec = 7
Ch 1, turn your work, 1 dec, sc 3, 1 dec = 5
Ch 1, turn your work, sc 5 = 5
Cut the yarn and weave it into the teabag.
Insert your hook into the top of the teabag and make a chain long enough for your book, I chained 80 for my dairy, cut the yarn long enough to attach the tab.
Tab
Ch 7, skip the last ch that you made, sc 6 = 6
*Ch 1, turn, sc 6* x 4 rows = 6
Weave the yarn tails into the tab and use the yarn tail from your chain to attach the tab with a knot.
