Written Pattern:
Head White
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made = 6
1 inc x6 = 12
1 sc, 1 inc x6 = 18
2 sc, 1 inc x6 = 24
Sc around for 2 rows = 24
Change to pink
Sc 10, 6 inc, sc 8. = 30
Sc 10, 1 inc 1sc x6, sc 8. = 36
Sc around for 6 rows = 36
4 sc, 1 dec x6 = 30
Sc around for 1 row = 30
3 sc, 1 dec x6 = 24
2 sc, 1 dec x6 = 18
Stuff
1 sc, 1 dec x6 = 12
1 dec x6 = 6
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch it onto the blanket, thread the yarn through the front loops of each of the last 6 st.
Ears (pink) Make 2
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made. = 6
1 inc, 2 sc x2 = 8
Sc around for 1 row = 8
*1 inc, 3 sc* x2 = 10
*1 inc, 4 sc* x2 = 1
*1 inc, 5 sc* x2 = 14
Ss to the next stitch, cut the yarn long enough to stitch it onto the head. Don’t stuff the ears.
Horn (white)
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 4sc in the first ch that you made = 4
1 inc, 1 sc x2 = 6
Sc around for 1 row = 6
1 inc, 2 sc x2 = 8
Sc for 1 row = 8
1 inc, 3 sc x2 = 10
Ss to the next stitch, cut the yarn long enough to stitch it onto the head.
Stuff the horn a little bit.
Mane
Ch 31, skip the last st that you made and make 2 sc in the next st, make 2 sc in every st down the ch.
Make as many as you like in any colour and you can change the length by chaining more or less at the start.
Stitch everything on to the head and you can make the eyes anyway you like.
Optional
Arms (Make x2)
White
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 4sc in the first ch that you made = 4
1 sc, 1 inc x2 = 6
2 sc, 1 inc x2 = 8
To make the thumb ch 3 and ss back into the front loop of the last stitch.
Ss to the next st and chain 1 with your main color, tie the 2 ends together so they don’t come apart.
17 rows of sc = 8
Ss to the next stitch, cut the yarn long enough to stitch it onto the head.
