How To Crochet A Pumpkin

Written Pattern:


Stalk


Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6 sc in the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6


*1 inc, 2 sc* x 2 = 8


Sc in BLO = 8


Sc around for two rows. = 8


*1 sc, (1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc all in the next stitch)* x 4 =12


Ss to the first sc of the last row and cut the yarn tail long enough to stitch it on later. (Add a little bit of stuffing to the inside of the stalk.)

Pumpkin


Leave a long tail, make a slip knot, ch 26 = 26


Skip the last ch that you made and make 1 hdc into each ch. =25


*ch1 and turn your work, 1 hdc in BLO of each st* x 27 rows = 25


Once you have finished all your rows ch 1, cut a long tail and st the 2 ends together and 1 side together, use the starting tail to stitch the other side together stuff the pumpkin as you go and use this tail to make the pumpkin details (please see the end of the video above for how to stitch the pumpkin together).
