You will need:
*Cotton Yarn: 100% cotton, 50 g (1.76 oz) / 115m (125 yd) Etsy
Stitches / abbreviations:
Sc = Single Crochet (Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Hdc = Half Double Crochet (Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through all three loops.)
Dc = Double Crochet (Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.)
Ss = Slip stitch (Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.)
Inc = Increase (2sc in same stitch)
Dec = Decrease (Insert hook into front loop of first stitch, Insert hook into front loop of second stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops, now you have 2 loops on hook, yarn over, pull through both loops.)
Blo = Back loop only
Flo = Front loop only
St = Stitch/stitches
Ch = Chain (Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook)
- * repeat the pattern in-between the asterix X amount of times
- = number of stitches at the end of the round
- Work in continuous spiral; do not join your work at the end of the rounds unless stated.
- This pattern uses US terminology.

Written Pattern:
3 mm hook
Face:
Cream
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6
*1 inc* x 6 = 12
*1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 18
*2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 24
*3 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 30
*4 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 36
Sc around for 7 rows = 36
*4 sc, 1 dec* x 6 = 30
*3 sc, 1 dec* x 6 = 24
*2 sc, 1 dec* x 6 = 18
Stuff
*1 sc, 1 dec* x 6 = 12
*1 dec* x 6 = 6
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch it closed, thread the yarn tail through the front loops of the last 6 st and pull the tail, hide the yarn tail inside the head.
Head:
Brown
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6
*1 inc* x 6 = 12
*1 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 18
*2 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 24
*3 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 30
*4 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 36
*5 sc, 1 inc* x 6 = 42
Sc around for 4 rows = 42
For 2 rows make, sc 19, 4 hdc, sc 19 = 42
Sc 20, 2 dc, sc 20 = 42
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch the two pieces together.
Place the cream ball inside the brown half circle and use the long
brown yarn tail to stitch them together around the edge.
Eyes:
Purple
Ch 6, skip the last ch that you made, sc 4 down the ch, 3 sc in the last ch
Turn and work in the back of the ch, sc 3, 2 sc in the last ch = 12
Ss to the top of the first sc that you made, cut you yarn and leave a long enough tail to stitch it onto the face.
Arms:
Brown
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6sc in the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6
1 inc x 6 = 12
Sc around for 20 rows = 12
Cut the yarn long enough to stitch them onto the head.
Nails:
Cream
At the end of each arm we need to make 3 nails
Attach the Cream yarn to the end of the arm, ch 6, skip the last ch that you made, ss down the ch = 5 ss
Ss to the next st and repeat the above row 2 more times.
Cut your yarn and knot the two ends together, hide the yarn tails inside the arm, do not stuff the arms.

6 Pointed Star Blanket
Written Pattern:
3.5 mm hook
1.
Ch4 ss to first ch to make a loop.
2.
Ch 3 (counts as a dc), 1 dc into the center of the loop, ch 2 *2 dc into the center of the loop, ch2* x5 you should now have 6 sets of posts, ss to the top of the ch 3.
3.
Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 1 dc into the next st, in the ch 2 space make 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc. *2 dc, in space 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc* x 5 ss to the top of ch3.
4.
Ss to the next two stitches, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *1 dc, skip over two stitches, 1 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x 5 1 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
5.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 2 dc, in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *3 dc, skip over two stitches, 3 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x 5 3 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
6.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 4 dc, in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *5 dc, skip over two stitches, 5 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x 5 5 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
7.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 6 dc, in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *7 dc, skip over two stitches, 7 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x 5 7 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
8.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 8 dc, in the ch 3 space make 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc. *9 dc, skip over two stitches, 9 dc, in space 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc* x 5 9 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
9.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 9 dc, in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *10 dc, skip over two stitches, 10 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x5 10 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
10.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 11 dc, in the ch 3 space make 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc. *12 dc, skip over two stitches, 12 dc, in space 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc* x 5 12 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
11.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 12 dc, in the ch 3 space make 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc. *13 dc, skip over two stitches, 13 dc, in space 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc* x 5 13 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
12.
Ss to the next stitch, Ch 3 (counts as a stitch), 14 dc, in the ch 3 space make 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc. *15 dc, skip over two stitches, 15 dc, in space 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc* x 5 15 dc, ss to the top of ch3.
Cut the yarn long enough and weave all the yarn tails into the blanket.
