Orange yarn:
Make a slipknot, ch 2, make 6 sc into the first ch that you made, pull the tail tight = 6
Make 1 sc in each st = 6
*1 sc, 1 inc* x 3 = 9
Sc around for 1 row = 9
*2 sc,1 inc* x 3 = 12
Sc around for 1 row = 12
*3 sc, 1 inc* x 3 = 15
Sc around for 1 row = 15
*4 sc, 1 inc* x 3 = 18
Sc around for 4 rows = 18
*5 sc 1 inc* x 3 = 21
Sc around for 4 rows = 21
*6 sc 1 inc* x 3 = 24
Sc around for 4 rows = 24
*7 sc 1 inc* x 3 = 27
Sc around for 4 rows = 27
Stuff
Dec all stitches until you have 13 stitches left = 13
Dec all stitches until you have 7 stitches left = 7
Cut the yarn leaving a yarn tail long enough to stitch the hole closed, thread the yarn tail through the front loops of each stitch and then pull the tail tight.
Green yarn:
Make a slipknot and ch 2, make 7 sc into the first ch that you made = 7
Ss to the first sc, make a ch as long as you want (mine are between 25 and 50 ch long).
For a really curly top skip the last ch that you made and make 2 sc into each ch all the way back down to the green circle.
For a semi curly top skip the last ch that you made and make *1 inc, 1sc* all the way back down to the green circle.
For a straight top skip the last ch that you made and make 1 sc in each ch all the way back down to the green circle.
For my carrot top I made a mixture of all 3 so it looked super crazy.
